It is now halfway through 2025 and we need to talk about AI. It is moving fast, and it is moving quickly. We hear about it in every meeting, we read about it in every inbox, we use it in every workflow.
The reality of AI
Let us start with some new data. Microsoft recently analysed over 200,000 conversations with Copilot to see where AI really makes a difference. The results were not as apocalyptic as you might think.
AI is particularly impressive in knowledge-intensive roles: writers, data scientists and customer service representatives. Writers use it for first drafts, data scientists automate code and customer service teams get immediate answers to questions about policy. But the most important thing is: in all cases, AI is an addition, not a replacement. It is like having a super-fast assistant, but you remain the one who makes the final decisions, shapes the story and determines what is really important.

Build your Second Brain with AI
Does your brain overheat from time to time too? You are certainly not alone! Every day we process hundreds of messages, emails, videos, meetings and new insights. Our biological brain is brilliant at making creative connections and intuitive decisions, but it is simply not built to store all that information and retrieve it systematically.
That is why the concept of a "second brain" is gaining popularity. A second brain is a digital system that helps you capture, organise, process and convert information into valuable output. Add Artificial Intelligence to that, and you build a powerful external memory that not only remembers, but also thinks along with you.

"Welcome Superworkers! I am CoachSteff, and I help ordinary professionals transform into high-performing Superworkers, thanks to the power of cognitive agility."
Let me ask you something: Are you tired of jumping from one AI tool to another, feeling overwhelmed rather than empowered? Last week one of my clients, a senior executive at a Fortune 500 company, confessed something interesting. She said:
"Steff, I have tried every AI tool out there, but I feel like I am only creating more busywork instead of real impact."
Does that sound familiar? Here is what most people do not realise: the problem is not the AI tools, it is the way we approach them. Today I am sharing the framework that helps my clients achieve 10 times more with AI, while actually working less.

Welcome Superworkers!
I am CoachSteff and I help ordinary managers grow into high-performing leaders with the power of cognitive agility.
Last week one of my coaching clients, Greta, a highly effective manager, shared a major frustration:
"I want to stay informed about everything that is going on, so I ensure open communication with my team. But... I am in meetings all day. From one-on-ones to team meetings, it is exhausting and I feel like I am not getting any real work done."
Although her vision on communication is admirable, she is not managing her time optimally. It frustrates her that she gets nothing substantial done and she feels powerless. Perhaps you recognise this too.

"Listen closely, because I am about to share something important with you: We are in the middle of a golden window of opportunity. While companies are embracing AI en masse, 76% of professionals have not even mastered a single AI tool. This is truly incredible: I recently coached someone who got a 40% salary increase simply by mastering one basic AI tool and in no time they were the AI expert of their department. Today I reveal five essential AI tools that can offer you enormous career opportunities. And the best part? You only need to start with one. The gap between AI-skilled professionals and the rest is growing every week, and right now the barrier to entry is surprisingly low."

Welcome, Superworkers!
I am Coach Steff, and today I am going to share something with you that amazes me every time: how you can transform deep work from overwhelming to extraordinary. And the best part? You will finally have time to drink your coffee while it is still warm. Just imagine that!
Let us talk about something that really got me thinking. I was working with Lisa, a senior pharmacist in the largest hospital in our region. Do you know those days when your head is about to explode from all the information? That is a standard Tuesday morning for her. Every day she is flooded with crucial information: urgent questions about medication, complex documentation about new drugs and patient files that require immediate attention. And here is the problem: she cannot afford to make mistakes, because a life is always at stake.

Let us dive into something I see happening time and time again, teams and professionals investing in flashy, expensive AI tools, only to let them gather dust.
Honestly, it is not even the fault of the tools. The real problem? How they are set up, or rather, how they are not properly integrated into daily work processes.
The AI tool trap
I have worked with a team that spent thousands of euros on premium AI licences. You would think this would revolutionise their workflow, right? But a few months later, how often were those tools actually used? Almost never. Why? Because nobody really knew how they fit into their daily tasks.

Let me start this episode with Jen, a 45-year-old sales manager. She told me she had been busy for 2 days going through documents to put together a proposal, with a deadline rapidly approaching. And I thought: What? 2 days of... doing nothing? So I showed her how she could do this in just a few minutes with ChatGPT and NotebookLM using specific prompts... But then I expected enthusiasm, but what I got was... Jen staring at the screen with a blank look: "It is just too much... I do not think I can do this just like you..."

Winter Wellbeing: Stress management during cold months and festive rush
Winter brings not only cold and short days, but often also extra rush due to the festive season. Many people feel overwhelmed by social obligations, work deadlines and the mental impact of less daylight. How do you stay resilient and keep your balance during this period? In this blog we share practical tips for stress management during the winter months.
1. Embrace a winter rhythm
In nature, winter is a time of rest and reflection. Try to embrace this energy by slowing down your pace. Do not set too many goals and focus on what is essential. This can give a feeling of space and calm.

How to make your meetings more energetic?
Do you notice that meetings often drain your energy instead of giving you energy? That your real talents and ideas often remain unused? And how many projects, which were basically good ideas, do you see fail... due to a lack of collaboration, frustration or a lack of clarity? You are not alone; a great many teams struggle with dull meetings, faltering collaboration and a growing pile of missed opportunities.
And this is while most organisations want to work like a well-oiled machine, want to innovate and want to grow. In fact, people would very much like to contribute, offer added value and deliver engaging and meaningful work.

In this blog, we explore an effective approach for conducting meetings with potential new clients. By establishing clear rules and expectations, listening actively and engaging in a joint dialogue, you can create a productive environment that fosters mutual understanding and paves the way for successful outcomes.
1. Rules and expectations
Start the meeting by outlining the rules and expectations. This creates a framework for the discussion and ensures that both parties are on the same page regarding the objectives of the meeting. Invite the client to share what would make the meeting a success for them. This not only shows that you value their input, but also helps to tailor the conversation to their needs.

You are in a meeting again, or wait, yet another team consultation... You have prepared the agenda tightly and you are ready to lead the troops through the maze of action points. While you hope for a consultation where everyone cooperates constructively, you notice that the energy is gone... A few colleagues dominate the conversation, the usual suspects. The rest look absent or secretly try to answer their emails... For twenty minutes you listen to the same mediocre ideas from the same two people who are always arguing.

It was going to be a two-day event where everything was at stake.
The CEO was determined: "I want us to do more than just talk. We need concrete output, an action plan that gives us direction for the coming years." Her concern was clearly palpable.
Her goal? To develop a shared vision for 2025, and to ensure that the management team presented a united front. Her challenge? The team consisted partly of new members, there were sensitive themes at play and there were a few critical minds questioning the course of the organisation.

A good cup of coffee. That is how I like to start my day. As I take the first sip, I am already looking forward to the moment I sit behind my computer to tackle that one task that has been haunting my mind all morning. Full of enthusiasm, I type in my password. Every second closer to the startup, my enthusiasm grows.
Then my desktop appears. Dozens of icons stare at me, along with a few open windows from yesterday. My enthusiasm starts to disappear and makes way for annoyance. I quickly click those windows away. I open a new browser and am immediately overwhelmed by news articles. Grmbl...

During the break of the 'Future Thinking' training I facilitated yesterday, Katrien told me she saw little chance of putting what she learned into practice, because she constantly spent her time in meetings. And that those meetings were not only time-consuming, but bluntly a waste of time. Often she just sat listening to topics that did not concern her at all. Nice to know, but not useful in the slightest...
When she asked me what she could do about this, I could reassure her: "You can really count yourself lucky, because you are not the only one in the world in that situation at all!"

Companies that invest in leadership training see an improvement not only in the performance of their leaders, but also in the productivity and motivation of their teams. In this blog we discuss how leadership training can bring about these positive changes and why it is essential for every organisation.
What are leadership training programmes and why are they essential?
Leadership training programmes are designed to improve the skills and abilities of leaders within an organisation. These training courses focus on various aspects of leadership, including communication, team management, problem solving and strategic thinking. In today's competitive market, these training courses are essential because they give leaders the tools they need to lead their teams effectively and stimulate business growth.

Most businesses see themselves as a defined circle of 'internal' and 'external'. This traditional paradigm, in which the internal organisation remains strictly separated from external actors, is well past its sell-by date. In today's dynamic world, this approach is no longer enough to survive, let alone thrive. Successful businesses actively involve their customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders in innovation, brand awareness, recruitment and development.
Why? Because these external parties can bring unique insights, ideas and energy that the business cannot generate on its own. Working together creates a synergy that leads to better results, more satisfied customers and a stronger market position. But what is the best way to tackle this? What should you definitely look out for and what are the keys to successful co-creation?

It is okay to be angry
Imagine: you work on a project for months, fully commit yourself and right before the finish line a colleague takes all the credit. It is normal that a wave of frustration and anger washes over you. But is anger really as bad as we often think? Let us explore the importance of being angry and how we can use this emotion to our advantage.
Useful
Anger is a natural reaction that helps us recognise injustice. It is a signal that something needs to change. Scientific research shows that anger, if channelled correctly, can make us more assertive and goal-oriented. It gives us the urge to take action against injustices, which in a professional setting can lead to raising problems that would otherwise go unnoticed.

"An anchor of leadership" - The story of Patrick, the master butcher
Taken from real life. In the artisanal world of Buurtslagers, Patrick is known as a master butcher. With his skilled hands, he not only cuts the finest steaks, but he also cuts through the everyday challenges of leadership. But how does he hold his ground? What is the secret to his confident leadership? Patrick's answer lies in something as simple as wearing his apron - his personal anchor.
During a mentorship training course, the concept of 'anchoring' was introduced, a technique often used in neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to connect a certain state of mind to a physical object or gesture. For Patrick, his butcher's apron became more than a work tool; it is his totem of confidence and responsibility.

Many of us navigate a sea of business connections, from LinkedIn contacts to business partners, without fully realising the potential that is up for grabs. This wealth of relationships offers more than just a business card; they form the foundation of a powerful community waiting to be activated. The question that arises: how do we unlock this untapped value and transform passive connections into dynamic advocates for our brand?
More than just making connections
The reality is that many of our networking relationships remain superficial, without the depth or involvement needed to cultivate true ambassadorship. This lack of in-depth interaction leads to a network that is rich in numbers but poor in meaning. Creating a real community requires more than collecting contacts; it requires building relationships that go beyond the usual business transactions.

"I think you don't fit the picture."
These sentences might seem innocent, but when they come from someone who makes decisions, they can have far-reaching consequences. But how do you know what you think? That is the core of what we will explore, specifically aimed at how we can avoid communication pitfalls and have more impact on conversations in our next NLP Practitioner training.
The difference between thinking and knowing
To start, thinking is a process where we process information and experiences to form opinions, ideas and hypotheses. It is subjective and often influenced by our emotions, prejudices and previous experiences. Knowing, on the other hand, is about facts, information and experiences that we have verified or accepted as true. It is more objective and independent of our personal feelings.

Imagine this: on an ordinary Tuesday morning, while the world is still sipping its first cup of coffee, the earth is shaken to its foundations by the announcement of SynapSync. This is no ordinary tech update or the latest smartphone; no, this is communication on steroids, thought transfer as the new normal. Suddenly, the idea of talking or sending text messages is as outdated as smoke signals.
SynapSync promises the ultimate solution for every misunderstanding, every undelivered email, and all lost-in-translation moments. But wait a minute, do not pop that confetti just yet. Before you know it, questions pop up that keep you awake, and not because of the caffeine. What about our privacy? Will our innermost self now become an open book for every hacker with a bit too much time and too few scruples?

As the business world becomes more competitive through globalisation, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) emerges as an effective tool that helps managers to learn and manage the business so they can increase their competitiveness in the market.
It is therefore no surprise that NLP is growing rapidly in a business context, as NLP is increasingly recognised as one of the best tools when it comes to communication skills. This is important, as employees are a company's most important asset.
So using NLP skills to maintain a good relationship with employees is crucial.

In today's rapidly evolving business world, finding qualified staff and maintaining business knowledge are central.
The challenges are clear: finding new employees who fit within the company culture and market expectations, and dealing with limited budgets for learning and development. This leads to a series of problems, including high staff turnover and knowledge loss. Here The House of Coaching introduces a solution: a powerful tutoring and mentorship programme based on neuroscience.
Companies struggle with attracting the right talent and retaining critical business knowledge within their teams. The limited budgets for learning and development make this challenge even more complex. The result is often increased staff turnover, the leaking of essential knowledge and an overall demotivation within the organisation.

Unplug PowerPoint
In the world of training and development, there is a silent truth that is rarely spoken out loud: PowerPoint, that faithful companion of every presenter, is not always the hero we think it is.
PowerPoint is Slowerpoint!
Imagine this: the lights dim, the projector hums to life, and there appears the first of many slides. As the trainer navigates through the points and graphs, and his passion fades, a slumbering trance is cast over the group. The uncertainty of the trainer turns into a monotonous cadence of clicking and reading. It can easily turn an energetic group dynamic into a passive, almost hypnotic state. Where is the room for a lively discussion or the sharing of personal insights? Hidden, perhaps forever, behind the gloss of streamlined bullet points and animated transitions.

The key to genuine contact
In our current world full of fast communication and superficial interactions, one thing has become clear: authentic communication is rare, but highly valued. We long for genuineness, for people who speak from their hearts and truly touch us. This lack of authenticity often causes a feeling of dissatisfaction and misunderstanding in both personal and professional relationships.
That is why we will briefly go over the essential principles of authentic communication, as they are presented in our Skill Sprint.

In a world where technology plays a dominant role, why not rediscover simple to-do lists. This old-school method can be the change for your productivity and peace of mind.
Strengthen your memory
The process of writing things down stimulates your brain in a way that typing cannot match. When you note down your tasks by hand, they turn out to be better engraved in your memory thanks to the micro-movements of your hand. Even if you forget your list, you often still remember what you wrote down. This phenomenon is almost magical and testifies to the power of writing and doodling.

In a world where leadership is often boxed into predefined models, there is a refreshing approach that embraces the dynamics of personal skills and talents: the 'talent stack'.
This approach emphasises that effective leadership is not about following a single model, but about using a unique combination of skills and talents that every leader possesses.
What are talent stacks?
The concept of 'Talent Stacks', introduced by Scott Adams, creator of the comic strip 'Dilbert', is based on the idea that you do not have to be the best at every skill. For some, learning and combining different skills can be the key to discovering their passion and talent, rather than waiting passively. Adams emphasises actively exploring and developing skills as a path to personal and professional growth.

You are halfway through typing a search query in Google, and bam! It seems as if Google is reading your mind and making suggestions even before you have finished your sentence. Handy, isn't it? But let's be honest, in real life this type of 'telepathy' can seriously mess up communication. In a world where we are used to quick answers and immediate results, the art of active listening has become a rare but indispensable skill, especially in the business environment.
Put yourself in a conscious listening mode
Active listening is not a passive activity; it requires conscious effort and attention. In the business world, where miscommunication can lead to significant losses, it is essential to be fully present and tuned in to the speaker. This means switching off your inner 'Google autocomplete', which tends to hijack the conversation with premature conclusions. Put your prejudices, assumptions and personal agenda aside. Be present in the moment and focus on what is being said, not on what you think will be said.

Since the success of ChatGPT, we might almost think that Generative A.I. is the same as A.I. in general. Nothing could be further from the truth. There is an important difference between generative AI and Narrow AI (also known as Weak AI). Time for a brief clarification, we think at The House of Coaching.
Narrow AI (Weak AI)
Narrow AI refers to AI systems that are designed and trained to perform a specific task. These systems are "narrow" or "weak" because their intelligence and learning capacity are limited to the specific domain for which they are programmed. They cannot operate outside that framework or learn new tasks without additional programming or training.

“Have the courage to leave the table when respect leaves the room”
Imagine you are sitting in a restaurant, waiting for your order, but the waiter walks past you time and time again. You try to get their attention, but it seems as if you are invisible. This scenario is not only frustrating in a restaurant, but also a striking metaphor for situations in life where respect is missing. It is a sign that it might be time to leave the table.
The first indicator that it is time to stand up is when you notice that you are not being heard. You share your thoughts and ideas, but it is as if you are talking to a wall. In a team meeting for example, where your input is consistently ignored, it is just like sitting in that restaurant where the waiter does not even give you a glance.

Facilitating is a game
We have all been there, sitting in a meeting room, looking at the clock and waiting for the session to be over. The meeting leader does their best, but the energy is low and participation is even lower. Unfortunately, this is a common scenario in many organisations, where meetings become a routine instead of an opportunity for collaboration and innovation.
The cost of ineffective meetings
The consequences of ineffective meetings are more than just boredom. They include wasted time, undiscovered ideas and untapped potential. When participants are not engaged, the collective intelligence of the group remains underutilised. This not only affects the direct results of the meeting, but also impacts the morale and productivity of the team.

The session began with a task that made everyone laugh: folding paper boats. This simple act contrasts with the complexity of leadership principles and set the tone for lightheartedness and doors to a deeper understanding.

Each of us carries an invisible backpack. In this backpack are our thoughts and beliefs. But sometimes there are heavy stones in it. These stones are like limiting beliefs: they are thoughts that tell us we cannot do something. Limiting beliefs are sneaky. They whisper things like: "You cannot give a speech, because that is too difficult." Because of these beliefs, our backpack feels heavy and our adventures are less fun.
When we do that, we feel lighter and are ready to discover more.
The first step to removing these stones is talking about them.

Our internal dialogues, the conversations we have with ourselves, are much more than whispers in our heads. They form the core of our mental well-being. Positive self-talk can significantly reduce the harmful effects of stress and anxiety, while negative self-talk can lead to anxiety, depression, and even burnout.
It turns out that how we talk to ourselves profoundly influences our view of the world and ourselves. Negative self-talk limits our thinking, feeds perfectionism and contributes to feelings of depression. That is why it is essential to be aware of our internal dialogues and to strive for more positive self-talk.

Imagine a quiet street, where the rhythm of the day is determined by passers-by, the rustling of leaves and the occasional ringing of a bicycle bell. My desk by the large window facing our street is my favourite place in the house, where the inside and outside worlds meet. I always sit here, musing about the outside world that feeds my inner world with mental oxygen and inspiration.
The power of an eye-catcher
This weekend, the windowsill and desk presented a new scene. Among the usual pens and notepads, Christmas parcels and twinkling lights suddenly nestled themselves. A subtle but deliberate change with an unexpected effect: people who would normally walk past undisturbed now stand still. Their eyes caught by the glow, their curiosity piqued by the unexpected. And there, among the parcels and the festive greenery, they discover something more, the logo of The House of Coaching.

Entrepreneurs versus freelancers: cultivating or chasing?

The trap of the endless pitch
We have all been there. You walk into a networking event and in no time you are bombarded with pitches. But how many of those conversations do you actually remember? Exactly, not many. If you want to excel at networking, it is time to shift the focus from 'self-promotion' to 'human interest'.
Why do people not remember your pitch?
It is a classic pitfall: promoting yourself and executing your pitch to perfection. But let us be honest, people do business with people they trust, not those with a well-rehearsed monologue.

The Dangers of Fake (Rogue) WIFI Access Points
A Wake-Up Call during a Cybersecurity Keynote
A Wake-Up Call during a Cybersecurity Keynote
During a recent event for SME owners where I gave a keynote on cybersecurity, I decided to pull a stunt to show the audience how easy it is to fall into the trap of a rogue access point. Before my presentation, I turned my smartphone into a WiFi access point using the name of the venue, followed by "high speed", to make it attractive for the attendees to log in to it. I had not installed any malicious tools to intercept traffic. I just wanted to make a point.
To my delight, halfway through the keynote several people were already connected to my access point. I told them it was a fake WIFI access point and that such a thing is not without dangers. Many reacted quite surprised and shocked. Someone tried to calm things down and suggested that as long as you only use encrypted traffic, not much can happen. But is that really true?

From DISC to Insights Discovery, HBDI, LSI, MBTI, Lumina Spark,... each model has its own appeal, benefits and pitfalls. In the world of personal development, I have taken a deep dive into various personality models.
Why I approach them critically
I have learned to look beyond the surface. It cannot be denied that many of these models fall short when it comes to scientific validity and reliability. Although they can offer insights and are often used in both business and personal development programmes, many of these models struggle to pass rigorous scientific testing.

You have invested in the best tools, hired top talent and even included wellness programmes. Yet something is not right. Teams are not performing optimally, creativity has never been so low and stress levels are shooting up. What could you be missing?
When fear rules the office
Imagine a workplace where employees hesitate to speak their minds, where the fear of making mistakes stands in the way of innovation and where job satisfaction is just a buzzword. It is not a lack of skills or resources that is holding you back; it is the absence of psychological safety. Research shows that when employees do not feel safe to speak up, the consequences are severe, both for individual wellbeing and for organisational performance.

"From real life. Sunday evening, while the world wraps itself in the warmth of family, I trade these precious moments to prepare for the approaching week. With a steaming cup of tea beside me, I get everything ready for a productive week. I want to give the best of myself again, to let my passion shine in my work. Before I shut down the computer, I send one more client-focused email, confirming my arrival. I carefully schedule the delivery for 8 am on Monday morning, so as not to disturb the Sunday rest. Monday, 8:30 am. Just before I step out the door, an email drops in. The client cancels the appointment. I allow myself a brief sigh and then I call the client and I am ready to listen..."

Do you remember those times your mother gave you a life lesson disguised as everyday advice? "Eat your vegetables, and you will grow big and strong," she would say. But between the lines, she actually taught you much more. She gave you a toolkit of soft skills that you now use daily. So let us pause for a moment to reflect on those invaluable lessons and take a closer look at the top 5 soft skills you learned from your mother.
Patience
My mother was the epitome of patience. You remember the endless questions you subjected her to, right? "Why is the sky blue, mum? Why can't I have sweets for dinner?" Yet she never snapped, she always found the stamina to answer calmly and logically. The ability to remain patient, even when tested to the limit, is perhaps one of the most crucial skills my mother taught me. This ability not only saves you from hasty, regrettable reactions, but also helps you to appreciate the journey rather than the destination. During meetings, negotiations or brainstorming sessions, your unflappable patience can mean the difference between success and failure, harmony and discord.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a thing of the future; it is today's reality. For HR managers, L&D specialists and entrepreneurs, it is crucial to understand the implications of this technology. The challenge is therefore not to see AI as a threat but as leverage for your team and your organisation.
AI, here to stay
It is a fact: Artificial Intelligence will never disappear from our working world. And we are only at the beginning of this important evolution. But what does this mean for your organisation? Everyone understands that AI will make certain jobs redundant, which will inevitably lead to unrest. How can you prevent this? By investing in AI education today. By teaching people how to use this technology effectively to lighten and automate their daily tasks, you will empower your team. This way, you can make the transition run smoothly and maximise the benefits of AI for your organisation.

What is a Mastermind group?
A Mastermind group is a team of people inside or outside an organisation, who temporarily work together to help each other grow, both personally and professionally. A Master Mind group is a temporary group of up to 1 year. The idea comes from Napoleon Hill, an author who introduced the concept in his book "Think And Grow Rich" from 1937. According to Hill, the power of a Mastermind Group is not one individual, but the combined intelligence of all members. It is a place where 1 + 1 equals 3, thanks to the 'third mind' that emerges when people work together.

CEOs reveal 5 effective principles of Storytelling
Jobs, a master of storytelling, knew exactly how to captivate his audience. He did not start with technical specifications or sales pitches. Instead, he told a story. He spoke about how the iPhone would revolutionise the way we communicate, work and play. He painted a picture of a future where we would no longer be tied to our desks, but would be free to work and communicate anywhere.
Jobs' presentation was a perfect example of the "Show, don't tell" principle. He did not just show the audience what the iPhone could do, but also made them feel what it would be like to own one. He used sensory language, created an emotional connection, was authentic and made use of symbolism and metaphors.

That's a lot SMARTER!
Do you know that feeling? You have set a SMART goal, beautifully detailed with specificity, measurability, achievability, relevance and a timeframe. Perhaps it was learning a new language in six months or cutting your coffee consumption in half. In theory it sounded perfect, but halfway down the road you became discouraged. What went wrong?
Before we introduce the solution, let us refresh what the SMART method exactly entails:
Specific: Your goal must be clear and concrete.
Measurable: There must be a way to assess your progress and to know when you have reached your goal.

We have all struggled at times with remembering new information or understanding complex concepts.
Do you want to remember information better?
But did you know there is a simple way to give your memory a boost and understand information better? The answer lies in Allan Paivio's Double Coding Theory (DCT).
What is the Double Coding Theory?
The DCT states that we process and remember information by using two different representation systems: verbal and visual/spatial representations. The verbal code includes language and auditory aspects, while the visual/spatial code relates to visual and spatial characteristics.

How do you easily learn in an online world?
About learning and learning curves...
Learning is a fascinating yet challenging activity. After all, there are an awful lot of subjects and skills that we do not (yet) know and of which we are equally unaware that we do not know them. On the other hand, there are countless skills that we have mastered for so long that it is not easy to adapt or change them based on new knowledge and awareness.
It also happens that we are aware that we do not (yet) know or can do something. It then takes more than simple knowledge transfer to encourage us to experience the learning process effectively and to assimilate it afterwards.
