Imagine: a quiet street, where the rhythm of the day is determined by passers-by, the rustling of leaves and the occasional ring of a bicycle bell. My desk by the large window on our street is my favourite place in the house, where the inside and outside worlds meet. I always sit here; musing about the outside world that feeds my inner world with mental oxygen and inspiration.

    The power of an eye-catcher

This weekend, the windowsill and desk brought a new scene. Between the usual ballpoint pens and notepads, Christmas parcels and twinkling lights suddenly nestled. How do you easily learn in an online world?

    About learning and learning curves...

Learning is a fascinating yet challenging activity. After all, there are countless subjects and skills that we do not (yet) know and of which we are equally unaware that we do not know them. On the other hand, there are numerous skills that we have mastered for so long that it is not easy to adapt or change them based on new knowledge and awareness.

It also happens that we are aware that we do not (yet) know or can do something. It then takes more than simple knowledge transfer to encourage us to experience the learning process effectively and to assimilate it afterwards.
