# Learning to innovate

Success strategies to innovate and keep innovating

A faltering or reluctant attitude towards innovation can lead to a decrease in employee motivation, productivity and competitiveness. Employees like to see their company invest and innovate, and holding on to old systems can be counterproductive or even frustrating.

Thinking that you can stay ahead of the (international) competition by standing still is of course a vain hope. You can safely assume that your competition is innovating, and can therefore overtake you.

### 3 strategies to innovate and keep innovating

Our training course "Learning to innovate" provides three success strategies to promote a culture of innovation in the workplace and actively involve employees in the innovation process:

1. **ICE model**

A handy working model to develop creative and innovative solutions, which integrates principles of Design Thinking.

1. **Imagineering**

Learning to apply storytelling to strive for a unique customer experience.

1. **Blue Ocean strategy**

Identifying and developing new, unsaturated markets.

### Learning objectives

1. Understanding what innovation is and how it can affect the workplace.
1. Learning how you can actively involve employees in the innovation process.
1. Developing strategies to overcome resistance to change.
1. Learning how you can promote a positive perception of innovation.

### Programme

The training course consists of two half days:

- Session 1: Introduction to innovation, impact on the workplace, and strategies for involving employees.
- Session 2: Overcoming resistance, promoting a positive perception of innovation, and practical exercises.

### Experience-oriented learning

We use an experience-oriented learning approach with a focus on interaction and exercises. This means that you not only gain new knowledge, but also get the chance to put it into practice.
