Artificial Intelligence and the human factor

The integration of AI in the workplace is an inevitable change that we will see in the coming years. However, this technological progress can cause resistance among employees and managers who see it as a threat to their jobs.

If this change is not managed well, it can lead to dissatisfaction, fear and a decrease in employee satisfaction, innovation potential and competitiveness. It is therefore essential to actively involve employees in this process.

Our training offers practical tools to get employees enthusiastic about AI adoption and to actively involve them in the integration of AI in the workplace.

### 5 misconceptions about AI adoption

There are five common misconceptions that can hinder a successful adoption of AI:

1. **Involving employees is expensive and slows things down.**

  That does not have to be the case if you involve employees early on.

1. **Employees cannot help think about an improved work setup with new technology.**

  They do not need to understand a technology 100% to think about its usability, impact, etc.

1. **Managers know what the impact of a technology is and how it will be received.**

  Neither managers nor employees can predict what will happen.

1. **A legal framework is needed to make a dialogue between social partners possible.**

  Involving employees yields a benefit for all stakeholders.

1. **AI solutions are plug and play.**

  A lot of invisible work goes into training and programming AI systems.

- Half day 1: Introduction to AI, impact on the workplace, and strategies for involving employees.
- Half day 2: Overcoming resistance, promoting a positive perception of AI, and practical exercises.
